Hi, I'm Kris. I make the shirts.

Not we. Not a warehouse somewhere with a customer service department. Me — with a printer that hums, a sewing machine, and a laser cutter that I am still slightly afraid of.

Happy Soul Vibrations is my little shop of custom apparel and good-feeling things. Shirts mostly. Cups and caps when the mood strikes.

How this started

I spent a long time being the helpful one in the background. Useful, quiet, always telling myself now's not the time.

Turns out hiding isn't humility, and waiting isn't a plan. So at fifty-something I stopped waiting, bought equipment I had no business buying yet, and started making things.

This shop is what came out of that.

What I actually make

Designs from my own head — the slightly weird ones, the ones that make people snort-laugh in a parking lot, the ones you wear until they're soft.

Team shirts for softball, baseball, gymnastics and whoever else needs the whole family matching in the stands. Names and numbers on the back, so the bleachers know who they're hollering for.

Custom shirts for reunions, birthdays, bachelorette weekends, memorials — the days that turn into stories later.

Everything is made to order

Nothing sits in a box waiting for you. When you order, I make it. That means a few days before it ships, and it means I'm not throwing away shirts nobody wanted.

It also means if something's wrong, you're talking to the person who made it. That's usually faster than talking to a company.

Where this is going

The long game is a corner of this shop for my grandkids — their art, their products, their first taste of a business that's actually theirs.
